DUTIES:
  • Prepare light morning refreshments and coffee for the volunteers as they check in
  • Help keep the volunteer tent area clean of trash
  • Help with set up and distribution on food and beverages at the post-race party
  • Help with cleaning up and removing trash from Breezy Point Park after the party is over
Volunteers should arrive approximately 30 minutes before the time listed above. Upon arrival, you will check in at the volunteer tent and receive your T-shirt. Our Hospitality Coordinator will be on hand to instruct you on what do. You are then invited to join us at Breezy Point Park for the post-race party and festivities.
PLEASE NOTE:   All volunteers must be registered with the race in order to access Naval Station Norfolk on race day. We will mail gate passes to you approximately 1-2 weeks before the event. Unless you have DoD decals on your vehicle, you will be required to have one of our gate passes to get on base. Therefore, to allow gate passes to reach you by mail in time, please register before May 20th.
